Colombian superstar Shakira shared exciting news with her fans after Disney revealed that she’ll be voicing the character Gazelle in the upcoming animated comedy “Zootopia.” The announcement came at the studio’s D23 Expo in Anaheim, California. In addition, she will be singing her character’s original song, “Try Everything.” The singer’s character is a pop star in the modern mammal metrópolis of Zootopia, where a police lieutenant bunny and a fugitive fox are forced to team up when they become targets of a conspiracy.

Other members of the voice cast announced at the Expo include Alan Tudyk, Jason Bateman and Ginnifer Goodwin, amongst others. The film is set to be directed by Byron Howard from “Tangled,” Rich Moore from “Wreck-It Ralph” and co-directed Jared Bush.
