Shocking Video Of Venomous Snake Trying To Follow Child Inside House Goes Viral

A chilling video of a highly venomous King Cobra trying to follow a toddler and enter a home has gone viral on social media.

In the video, the child is seen playing on the floor in the front yard of his home in Vietnam’s Soc Trang.

The boy’s grandfather, who was standing right behind him, suddenly spots the serpent approaching the boy. The grandfather, however, could not react fast as he was still recovering from a stroke that he suffered recently.

The grandfather shouted and alerted the boy’s father who was sitting not too far away. The young man can be seen rushing for the boy’s rescue. The father quickly grabbed his son and ran inside the home and the grandfather slowly followed.

As the man shuts the glass door, the venomous reptile, which is about two meters long, can be seen swiftly slithering towards them. The snake tries to make its way into the home but returns after multiple failed attempts.

The serpent can be then seen making its way back and slithering through the boy’s toys and other items on the floor.

The child’s mother described in the caption of the post: "He (grandfather) saw the snake slithering and he shouted out loud in order to call my husband to rescue the kid. Luckily, everyone is fine!"

The video has gone viral on social media with over 1,077,529 views on Youtube. Netizens reacted to the video and commented about the sheer luck of the boy and his family.

One user wrote: "Wow didn't expect it to be that fast and agile based on the old man's reaction when he initially spotted it. Good thing the younger guy was there for both him and the baby!"
