His social media handle is @ JuanMaConfiesa (JuanMa Confesses) for always being interactive and social with his thousands followers on places such as Twitter, Facebook and Instagram. On Tuesday afternoon, however, Juan Manuel Cortés, TV host of "Suelta La Sopa" made the biggest confession of all, that he's been diagnosed with lymphoma cancer.
Though the news comes as a big shock to his fellow colleagues, loved ones and fans, Cortés sent a positive message on social media, letting everyone know that he feels blessed and he knows God will cure him. He wrote the following statement on the Internet:
"I want to share with you that I've been recently diagnosed with cancer of the lymphatic system. This week I'll begin chemotherapy to eliminate everything I need to clean my body. And I have to say that my biggest blessing is knowing that God will heal me. I face this situation with an optimistic attitude, I feel perfectly fine and I know God is with me," he wrote, adding that he feels blessed for being spiritual and being a student of "Kabbalah." The Telemundo host elaborates more of his cancer diagnostic in a three minute long video posted below.
Though we're heartbroken with the news, we know Juan Manuel is a strong human being and will overcome this stage in his life.
