Four men allegedly held a woman captive and raped her for nine days in Sohna, India. The woman was reportedly given sedatives by the accused before the act. It was also recorded.

The 19-year-old victim was dropped off at Ballabhgarh bus stand on July 8 after she was raped. On June 29, she had gone to get water on the outskirts of a village in Sohna where she met one of the accused, Chintu, whom she knew.

According to The Times Of India, he asked her to meet at a nearby temple the following day. According to police, the teenager went to meet Chintu at the temple but two of his friends, Deepak and Sanju, came in a car and took her towards Faridabad. The car was driven by Deepak.

The girl was given water spiked with sedatives. After drinking it, she fell unconscious. A few hours later when she came to her senses, she found herself locked in a room that had liquor bottles and burnt cigarettes.

The following day, another person, Kuldeep, joined Chintu, Sanju and Deepak and allegedly sexually assaulted her. They reportedly threatened her not to tell anyone about the incident. The accused gave her new set of clothes before leaving her at the bus stand.

The teenager later lodged a complaint. “They took turns in raping me over nine days and kept injecting sedatives. They videographed the sexual assault and threatened me with weapons. On July 8, they asked me to change clothes and dumped me at Ballabhgarh from where I informed my brother-in-law and somehow returned home,” the victim said in her complaint, reported The Tribune.

Sohna police station SHO Umesh Kumar, said that when she did not return home, her family called her up. "At gunpoint, she was asked to lie about her whereabouts. She said that she was at her friend’s place and would return in a few days,” he added.

Police said that the girl was taken to hospital. The incident left multiple injuries on her body.

Based on her complaint, a case was registered on Sunday at the Sohna police station against the four men under sections 201 (destruction of evidence), 328 (causing hurt by means of poison), 365 (kidnapping, 376 D (gang rape) of IPC, sections of Arms Act and section 3 of SC/ST (Prevention of Atrocities) Act.
