A teenage boy was reportedly accosted and groped by a man on a Brooklyn subway platform in May.

The New York City Police Department (NYPD) is on the lookout for the suspect in the assault; they released a photo of him on Wednesday. He is described as being 30 years old, around 5'5" and 130 pounds, with a medium build. The suspect was said to be last seen wearing a blue baseball hat, black face mask, black and gray hooded jacket, black shirt and blue jeans.

The attack reportedly happened just after 7:00 a.m. on May 19 at 59th Street and Fourth Avenue station. According to the police, the 17-year-old boy was standing on the platform waiting for a southbound R train when the suspect walked up to him and asked, "How big?" The suspect then allegedly pointed at the boy's crotch and forcibly grabbed it. The boy afterward got on an arriving train and left the station.

Meanwhile, a 14-year-old girl was also groped by a man aboard an MTA bus on Staten Island on Monday afternoon. Police said it occurred around 4:05 p.m. at the corner of Marsh Avenue and Ring Road in New Springville. According to an NYPD spokesperson, the female victim narrated to the police that an unknown male sat down next to her on the bus, then placed his hand on her inner thigh and started asking her questions.

A source told the Advance/SILive.com that the victim was aboard a S79 MTA bus and alerted the bus operator that a man had groped her, then immediately exited the bus. EMS responded to the scene; they checked on and evaluated the 14-year-old. She was later picked up by her parents, according to the source.

Another incident happened in April--police from the 112th Precinct in Forest Hills and Transit District 20 are looking for a man who allegedly assaulted a woman in the Forest Hills-71st Street subway station.

The 68-year-old woman reportedly had just gotten off the subway on April 2, Saturday evening, when the suspect suddenly approached her as she walked to the staircase to the mezzanine. Without provocation, the thug struck the woman in the back of her head before fleeing in an unknown direction.

EMS transported the victim to New York-Presbyterian Hospital Queens in stable condition. The NYPD released three surveillance images of the assailant. He was last seen wearing a dark hooded sweatshirt with dark pants and dark shoes.

Anyone with information concerning the identity of the suspects is encouraged to call the NYPD's Crime Stoppers Hotline at 800-577-TIPS (8477) or for Spanish, 888-57-PISTA (74782). The public can also submit their tips by logging onto the CrimeStoppers website. All calls and messages are kept confidential.
