Barely days after Christopher Meloni turned 60, fans really seem to be celebrating him—and his booty. Netizens went into a tizzy when they spotted a snap of the “Law & Order” star that captured his assets in an unmissable light, while he was filming for the movie in Brooklyn on Wednesday.

Sources suggest that the star will be reprising his role as Detective Elliot Stabler in the movie. Needless to say, twitterati kept dropping comments of the star’s magnificent gluteus. The forthcoming flick marks Meloni’s return to the “Law & Order” franchise last week after a decade-long hiatus. He played Stabler on the popular crime show for 12 seasons until he took a break from the series in 2011. The show is slated to air on Thursdays at 10 p.m. ET on NBC.

“I don’t know [whose] birthday it is but [Meloni] is a serving cake for dinner,” tweeted one fan, as cited by New York Post.

Well, the attention isn’t new-found, TBH. Meloni was visibly blushing while he read aloud the extremely naughty tweets about his desirable derrière by fans in 2019.

Meloni stunned fans after he reprised Detective Stabler on the series premiere of “Law & Order: Organized Crime” last Thursday. The show garnered a whopping 8 million viewers. The support and love he amassed from fans upon his return from a sabbatical left him shocked.

“It was pretty overwhelming,” said Meloni, during an interview with People. “I was not prepared. I think [Hargitay] was expecting it more than I was, because I think she's been in the Law and Order stew, she's been in that world continuously for the 20 years. It’s overwhelming and it’s wonderful and it’s very appreciated,” he added, enthusing how grateful he was to be accepted after a decade-long break from prime-time television.

Meloni also remarked that he felt a lot more at ease while essaying the role of Stabler now than he did a decade ago. “This time around, I think the pressure's off,” he said. “I feel less pressure than I did when Dick first tasked me with being Elliot Stabler. So, I'm a little freer to appreciate everything. It's a nice journey,” he added.
