Iran Rejects Trump's Claims About Its Weapons Programs: 'Simply The Repetition of Big Lies'

The U.S. intercepted encrypted communications believed to be coming from Iran, and could potentially be activating sleeper cells around the world, according to a new report.

ABC News detailed that a federal government alert sent to law enforcement agencies detailed that the communications could be serving as an "operational trigger" for "sleeper assets."

The communications began being issued shortly after the U.S. and Israel conducted the first strikes against the Tehran regime, which ended up killing Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei.

Elsewhere in the report, ABC News noted that the communications can be deciphered by "clandestine recipients" with the encryption key and without the need for internet or cellphones.

"While the exact contents of these transmissions cannot currently be determined, the sudden appearance of a new station with international rebroadcast characteristics warrants heightened situational awareness," reads a passage of the alert.

Iran has been making direct threats to the U.S. as the war rages on. Most recently it threatened to drive oil prices above $200 per barrel if the U.S. and Israel continue their attacks.

A spokesman for the Iranian Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) said that it is "expected that the governments of Muslim countries will swiftly warn the criminal U.S. and the savage Zionist regime against such cowardly anti human actions so that the flames of fire and war do not spread further."

"Otherwise, similar actions will occur in the region, and if you can tolerate oil prices above $200 per barrel, continue this game," the spokesperson added.

Bob McNally, president of Rapidan Energy and a former energy adviser of George W. Bush, said the war has caused the largest oil disruption in history, taking out about 20% of the world's supply, double the previous record during the Suez Crisis in the 1950s.

Trump addressed the spike on Sunday, saying in a social media post that "short term oil prices, which will drop rapidly when the destruction of the Iran nuclear threat is over, is a very small price to pay for U.S.A., and World, Safety and Peace." "ONLY FOOLS WOULD THINK DIFFERENTLY!" he added.
