Taylor Swift will be getting unexpected guests at her August 3 concert in Kansas City. The Westboro Baptist Church are organizing a protest the "whorish face of doomed America," according to a statement released by the group.
“This girl is a whore,” Ben Phelps told Radar Online. “Who else is gonna say that if it’s not the church of the Lord Jesus? She’s coming into our backyard. We’re gonna go preach to her.”
Swift is known for her squeaky clean image that writes love and heartbreak songs using past personal experiences as inspiration. The media has called out the country singer for her multiple high-profile relationships with stars like Taylor Lautner, John Mayer, Jake Gyllenhaal, Conor Kennedy, One Direction's Harry Styles among others.
The WBC has made some serious accusations that have gained traction after a press release was sent out to picket Taylor's upcoming concert.
"@TaylorSwift13 works her “girl next door” country-singer shtick, while hopping from one young man to the next and strutting across the world stage like a proud whore."
After slamming Taylor they go on to attack her father.
"With a hating hypocrite for a dad – who will jealously guard her income, while not giving a thought for her never-dying soul – no wonder she grew up to be the poster child for the young whores of doomed-america."
Although Taylor Swifth had been receiving some flack for her serial-dating, it was all in good-fun. The WBC has taken it to another level that seem to promote hate.
