Why Prince William’s Alleged Mistress Rose Hanbury Remains Silent Amid The Cheating Rumors

Kate Middleton’s friend Rose Hanbury has been in the rumor mills lately. First, there were talks about her falling out with the Duchess of Cambridge, which was followed by even nastier cheating rumors linking her to Prince William.

However, Rose did not make any official comment on those issues despite all the drama. But it now appears that the Marchioness of Cholmondeley’s silence is all part of a plan, if reports are indeed accurate.

According to The Sun, Rose and her husband, David Rocksavage, got help from royal advisers on how to handle the media regarding the rumored falling out between Rose and Kate. The publication wrote that the Marchioness of Cholmondeley “has reportedly been advised to say nothing” about the issue.

But Rose’s silence does not mean that she is unaffected by the rumors. The Marchioness’ brother was reportedly heard saying that Rose is very aware of what people are saying about her.

“These are very, very trying times for Rose and she has not found it easy knowing that she is the subject of gossip simply because she happened to form a good friendship with the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge,” another pal revealed. “This has got out of hand and become hurtful.”

Some sources say that Rose is deeply hurt with the gossip circulating, especially since some friends are now trying to maintain their distance from her. “People are worried about her,” a source told Daily Mail.

“The most loyal friends are sticking by her but others, they haven’t. It has caused her great distress to have suddenly found herself the talking point of everyone in the area,” the source added.

The publication also said that it’s now harder for Rose to deal with the issue since David is mostly staying in Paris these days. “She is very aware about what is being said and she has tried to put a brave face on it,” a source said. “On top of that, she has a husband who is away more than he is present. It has been a lonely time.”

Meanwhile, there are reports saying that Rose Hanbury may be facing marital problems of her own. “Rose’s marriage has less romance these days,” her brother reportedly told some pals while out drinking. “He’s much older than her and they have different interests.”
