On Oct. 28, the couple posed with two sonograms on social media and captioned them with, "Delighted to announce we are expecting twins. Our hearts are full of love - we can't wait to meet you #blessed."

The new additions to Ronaldo's family would be their fifth and sixth children and the second set of twins in their blended family. Cristiano Jr. was born to a surrogate mother, as were four-year-old twins Eva and Mateo.

After Cristiano's Real Madrid exit in 2018, his family moved to Turin, where they held a gender-reveal party for the twins. At the time, one pink balloon and one blue balloon popped as Cristiano Jr. yelled, "It's niño!" and his sisters avidly remarked, "Niña! Niña!"

The happy encounter was shown in a video posted by Ronaldo on his Instagram account on Dec. 17, with the Portuguese athlete known to frequently share a glimpse of his family adventures on social media, E! Online noted.
