If rumors are to be believed, "Wolverine" actor Hugh Jackman and his actor-producer wife Deborra-Lee Furness are reportedly heading for a split.

Being married for almost 25 years, it's no surprise if the power couple is indeed suffering from a rough patch in their relationship. And as the rumor mills suggest, there are three main reasons why the couple is allegedly contemplating divorce.

It was no secret that Jackman's family was stuck in New York during the pandemic. Then, the tabloid, Woman's Day claimed Furness was upset with Jackman that they missed the opportunity to go back to Australia. Even though Jackman adores his lady love a lot, their stint in New York has caused anxiety in their relationship, considering how hard the city was hit by the virus.

The tabloid also claimed that Furness will be the happiest if they return to Australia. However, this is said to be just the tip of the iceberg for the married couple.

The shady source also claimed that Jackman is interested in Scientology, which was said to be a major concern for his wife. According to the rumors, Furness was greatly concerned with his friendship with Tom Cruise. It was also rumored that Jackman was about to join the church of Scientology and Furness was not liking it much and was trying to keep Jackman away from the controversial organization and Cruise.

Fortunately, there is no truth to both claims as Gossip Cop proved the claims were very silly. There was hardly any evidence to prove that Jackman had any interest in Scientology since he was a great devotee Christian. Jackman also confirmed that the story was not true.

Meanwhile, Woman's day reported a story of Jackman being seen without his wedding ring. According to the recent article by the tabloid, Jackman can only take his ring off if something is not going right between the couple.

There are hardly any resources or evidence which proves that Jackman and Furness are having troubles. Looking at Jackman's social media accounts, he frequently shares pictures of her and even posted a heartwarming Valentine’s day greeting that says, “Deb. You are, and always will be, the great love of my life. I love you to the moon and back.” Which shows that the couple is in a good place.
