Shakira fans are counting down the days to catch their favorite singer as a gazelle in Disney's upcoming film "Zootopia" starring Ginnifer Goodwin and Jason Bateman. In the film, which will premiere March 4th, the Colombian singer portrays "Gazelle,"a gazelle from Sahara Square who is a famous pop star. As the movie makes its way to theaters nationwide, Shakira opens up about her new role.

"I felt that we had many things in common," she told El Pais. "A lot of details are mine, the eye color, the eyelashes, the hair. Even the clothes," she added. Although she and Gazelle have many similarities, Shak confessed that she was lacking something very important. "I thought she needed more hips and I asked them to add more and they did!," she expressed. "It's been a fun process and different compared to everything I've experimented in the past," the 39-year-old bombshell added, stating that she's been offered many similar movie projects in the past and never accepted them. "But as soon as I met 'Gazelle' ...besides, the production team has been very friendly," she emphasized.

Shak, who revealed that she took her older son Milan and 17 of his school friends to a screening of the film, said "Zootopia" has an original plot with intelligent dialogue, lots of humor and a bit of suspense. "It's a spectacular movie," she said to El Pais, assuring that many people will feel identified.
