A time to celebrate the most important woman in your life, Mother’s Day serves as a great way to honor mothers and recognize the positive influence they have on your life each and every day. This year’s special date falls on Sunday, May 11 and while it may not be a federal holiday, Mother’s Day is still treated as a highly significant time on the calendar. While many elect to shower their moms with various gifts including flowers, chocolates and other items unique to a mother, certain folks choose to treat mom to a nice dinner or get together with family and friends in celebration of the holiday.
