From her sexy red carpet looks to her impeccable performances, there's no doubt that Jennifer Lopez is an all-time favorite at the American Music Awards. That's why it's a no brainer that the sensual and talented Boricua has been invited by the AMAs to host and perform at its next award show.

Move over Pitbull (who has hosted the AMAs in the past) because Dick Clark productions announced Wednesday that the 46-year-old singer and actress will take the reigns of the 2015 AMAs and will host the star-studded event for the first time. JLo joins the bandwagon with previous hosts Jimmy Kimmel, Helen Reddy, Keenen Ivory Wayans and more. It was also revealed that the "Booty" songstress will perform material from her upcoming Las Vegas residency at Planet Hollywood Resort & Casino.

The 2015 American Music Awards nominees, based on album sales, radio airplay, touring and social media, will be announced October 13 by Joe Jonas and Charlie Puth. The show recognizes artists with fan-voted awards in such categories as pop/rock, rap/hip-hop, country, Latin and adult contemporary.

The American Music Awards will air November 22nd live from Microsoft Theater in Los Angeles via ABC. Meanwhile, don't forget to watch the first-ever Latin American Music Awards airing October 8th on Telemundo.
