Anahí, who is currently promoting her new studio album “Inesperado” in Mexico, recently gave some juicy declarations to the media regarding her former RBD co-star, Alfonso Herrera.
“I love Poncho very much and I am so proud of his accomplishments. His thing is TV and film, he is so good,” she said. “But when I saw photos of their kiss in Brazil, I couldn’t believe it. I said, ‘He was for me, I saw him first!’”
The Mexican singer is referring to the kiss between Herrera and Miguel Ángel Silvestre at Sao Paulo’s pride parade last week, where they filmed scenes for the second season of the sci-fi series “Sense8.”
Even though she admitted she has yet to watch the show’s first season, she mentioned she is quite familiar with the characters’ love story and confessed her infatuation with the sexy Spanish actor.
“Truth is I haven’t seen the show but I’ll make time for it soon,” she promised. “However, I have seen Velvet, a Spanish production starring Miguel Ángel, and he is so handsome!”
She continued, “If I ever return to telenovelas, because I don’t see that happening right now, hopefully he can be my co-star, that’d be amazing!”
Herrera and Silvestre play “Lito” and “Hernando” on the Netflix original, a gay couple trying to keep their relationship private, so it won’t conflict with “Lito’s” acting career.
“His life is a roller coaster in Season 2,” Silvestre told BuzzFeed. “The three [Lito, Hernando and Daniela, played by Erendira Ibarra] of them are going to face a very rough, cruel reality.”
He added, “It’s like a big test for the three of them, where love trembles too, because everything trembles around you when the soul or the ground is rough. It proves that you’re always making decisions, love-wise. We’ll see how they handle their own love when everything around them is trembling.”
