Angelina Jolie, Colin Farrell Getting Back Together Rumors: How True Are They?

Angelina Jolie is still navigating her divorce from Brad Pitt, but rumor has it that she is already moving on from her ex-husband with longtime friend Colin Farrell. Apparently, Pitt is not happy about her rekindling her stalled romance with the Irish actor.

According to Perez Hilton, Jolie rekindled romance rumors after she attended the premiere of “Dumbo” with her children Knox, Zahara, Vivienne and Shiloh in March. The actress reportedly attended the premiere to support Farrell, who was linked to Jolie even long before she and Pitt tied the knot.

Farrell and Jolie first met in 2004, when they co-starred in the historical drama film “Alexander.” Their secret fling at the time made headlines several times, but the issue died down when Jolie confirmed her relationship with “Mr. And Mrs. Smith” co-star Pitt a year later. Shortly after they confirmed their relationship, they got hitched, and Jolie and Farrell’s rumored romance fizzled out altogether.

Now that Jolie is officially on her own, rumors are swirling around that she is seeing Farrell again to revive their relationship. Although neither Jolie nor Farrell has spoken out about the romance issue, a source close to Jolie reportedly said that the actress is determined to further explore her connection with Farrell and would definitely date him in a heartbeat. “She usually gets what she wants and there’s no denying they have a major chemistry,” the source reportedly said.

The source also claimed that Jolie making it official with Farrell is a huge possibility, especially now that she sees Farrell as a changed man. “They’ve come such a long way since the wild old days when they last hooked up,” the source said. “Colin’s a changed man — more into clean living and charity than anything else, plus he’s a doting dad,” the source added.

Back in 2013, rumors also surfaced claiming that Jolie was still desperately infatuated with Farrell but chose to settle for Pitt. Three years later, she reached her breaking point and decided to cut ties with the father of her six children.

Earlier this week, Gossip Cop refuted claims about Jolie and Farrell rekindling their relationship and claimed that the publication's anonymous source was made-up. But since Jolie herself has been mum about the issue, it remains unknown where Farrell really currently stands in her life. Unless either of the two camps confirms or denies the reports, it would be best for fans to take them with a grain of salt.
