Missing Child Baby Lisa
Lisa Irwin, a 10-month-old girl feared kidnapped from her home in Kansas City, Missouri, is seen in this undated handout picture released to Reuters on October 4, 2011 by Kansas City police. Police widened their search Tuesday afternoon for Irwin, feared abducted from her home in Kansas City. Irwin was last seen asleep in her crib at home at 10:30 p.m. Monday and was reported missing at 4 a.m. Tuesday, said Kansas City police in an Amber Alert. It appears someone entered and left through a bedroom window and evidence suggests an abduction, police said. Reuters

Baby Lisa (Lisa Irwin), who disappeared from her Kansas City home in 2011 could be a match for the blue-eyed blonde girl found living with gypsies in Greece last week. The FBI is working with Baby Lisa's parents to determine whether the blue-eyed blond child known simply as "Maria" who was discovered living in a Roma camp last week, is indeed their daughter. The family's attorney, John Picerno told FoxNews.com that Baby Lisa was among ten other missing children being considered as a match for the child. A computer age progression model showing what Baby Lisa would look like today shows a remarkable resemblance to Maria. If authorities believe that it could indeed by the missing girl from Missouri, the next step would be a DNA test to confirm her identity.

Baby Lisa was abducted two years ago. Her parents, Jeremy Irwin and Deborah Bradley, denied having any involvement in the disappearance and offered a $100,000 reward for any information on the case. This comes as the first significant lead on the case. Bradley and Irwin contacted SyNews saying "because of the physical similarities between Lisa and Maria we have contacted the authorities here, as well as overseas, and are waiting for their responses". Maria was discovered near Farsala, when police raided a Roma camp looking for drugs and weapons. She was living with a gypsy couple who claimed she had been given to them. The identity of the child has not been confirmed, however, there is some doubt over whether she is in fact Baby Lisa as Greek authorites believe Maria to be five or six, when in fact Baby Lisa would be turning 3. Until the DNA test is performed, Baby Lisa's disappearance will remain a mystery.
