Becky G Cast On 'Empire': Singer To Make Special Appearance On TV Show

Becky G is on fire in 2015 and there's no holding her back now. Following her big night at Premios Juventud and her live showcase alongside J Balvin at the Special Olympics, the 18-year-old songstress will now flaunt her acting skills as guest star on "Empire."

The drama television series, which renewed for an 18-episode second season for the fall, announced the big news on its official Twitter account, driving all the #Beasters crazy! "Ah! We are so excited to announce that @iambeckyg will be joining season 2 of #Empire!!," the tweet read, attached with a video of the Latina star confirming the news.

Though not much details were revealed of her role or what episode she'll be on, Cosmopolitan reveals that her character on the second season will be named Valentina.

We don't doubt the Mexican-American singer will kick butt on the show, as this won't be the first acting gig she lands. In fact, the "Shower" singer recently made a guest appearance on Disney Channel's "Austin & Ally." She also has quite the filmography stacked up.

"Empire" season two, which will also feature guest appearances by Alicia Keys, Kelly Rowland, Ludacris and Lenny Kravitz, premieres on September 23, 2015 ---and we can't wait!
