Blake Shelton shared a sweet happy birthday message for Gwen Stefani, as the pop star turned 50 recently. The two of them are not yet married, but their relationship has been growing stronger by the day.

Shelton took to Twitter to wish Stefani a happy birthday. In his hilarious post, the country singer wrote that he loves his girlfriend so much that it is “actually stupid.” He also added that the intensity with which he loves her is “possibly illegal in the state of California.”

The fans were quick to comment on the post, with many of them loving how the celebrities are affectionate with each other. Some of the fans asked Shelton to take the opportunity and ask her to marry him.

Stefani to commented on the post. The pop star didn’t write an elaborate message, and simply said that she loves Shelton.

It isn’t clear where the couple went to celebrate the birthday. The fans asked Shelton to take good care of his girlfriend and celebrate.

Shelton celebrated his birthday in June. Stefani had thrown a pizza party for him at her house to celebrate. She also gave him a huge welcome sign as a gift, which he could put at his ranch in Oklahoma.

The birthday celebration is significant because Shelton and Stefani will have another milestone to celebrate next month. The four-year anniversary of the couple’s dating is next month, People reported.

The romance started back in 2015, a few months after Stefani and Shelton met on the set of “The Voice.” The “Hollaback Girl” singer was a guest coach on the show at that time, and she started dating her fellow coach seven months after appearing in the TV series.

The fans are eager to see Shelton and Stefani get married, but the two stars are taking their time before taking the next step. The pop singer’s children hang out with her boyfriend, and the family has been seen in public on several occasions.
