Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie’s divorce procedures are still ongoing. Although the two stars are already considered as legally single, the whole process, which started in 2016, is yet to be finalized, with custodies and assets still to be discussed on how to divide equally for each celebrity.

Since the divorce proceedings have been going on for 3 years, the stress has reportedly accumulated for Pitt, particularly with negotiating for the custody of his six children — 17-year-old Maddox, 15-year-old Pax, 14-year-old Zahara, 13-year-old Shiloh and 10-year-old twins Knox and Vivienne.

With the rising of stress levels, so does the effort to reduce the pressure. And unfortunately, this may mean the relapse of some very bad habits. For the “Once Upon A Time In Hollywood” star, this means the resurfacing of a chain-smoking habit.

Pitt and Jolie have been known smokers for quite some time, but the “Maleficent” star has been reported to have quit smoking a few years back. The actor, as reported by Radar Online, could not seem to overcome his nicotine addiction.

“Angie managed to quit a couple of years back and the kids were so proud, but Brad’s still hopelessly dependent and it’s gotten them worried sick,” said Radar Online’s source.

The “Mr. & Mrs. Smith” actor had been reported to have foregone cigarettes for vaping a short while back. But he has dropped his vape in favor of smoking once again and has reached a daily two whole packs to destress. This has left his children allegedly “sick with worry” about their father’s nicotine dependency.

“Brad was vaping for a while, but lately he’s gone back to smoking up to two packs of cigarettes a day, and no-one’s more worried about this than his kids,” said the source.

With the rise in knowledge about the correlation between smoking and cancer, it’s but normal for Pitt and Jolie’s children to be worried about their father, if these rumors turn out to be true. The kids are reportedly very health conscious, and their awareness of their parents’ habits concern them greatly.

“They’re all extremely health conscious and have been taught from an early age that smoking is terrible, even though both their parents have been smokers on and off their whole lives,” continued Radar Online’s source.
