Bradley Cooper Almost Proposed To Lady Gaga Before Breaking Up With Her, Source Claims

Bradley Cooper was reportedly on the verge of proposing to Lady Gaga before he broke up with her just recently. A new report claimed that Cooper changed his mind after realizing that he wasn’t ready to commit to someone else yet following his split from longtime partner Irina Shayk.

A tabloid report that surfaced last week claimed that rumors about Cooper and Lady Gaga’s secret affair were actually true. The “A Star Is Born” costars had reportedly been romantically involved for a few months after starring together in the film until Cooper called it quits with Lady Gaga earlier this month.

According to the report, Lady Gaga has been telling her friends recently how Cooper broke her heart after suddenly breaking up with her. The tabloid also claimed that the female singer was totally head over heels for Cooper and actually thought that he was already “the one.”

After months of being together, however, Cooper allegedly backed off. A source close to the former couple allegedly told the publication that friends of Lady Gaga were convinced that Cooper only strung her along until dumping her.

Lady Gaga reportedly couldn’t accept the fact that Cooper had a change of heart just like that when all along he was giving off all the signs that their relationship was for keeps. She particularly hated that Cooper ended things between them in the most horrible way by using a blocked number to call Lady Gaga and tell her that it was over.

The source, however, claimed that Cooper still has feelings for Lady Gaga. In fact, Cooper was reportedly already planning to buy an engagement ring for the singer, but he suddenly got cold feet after realizing he still needed to date around more before committing to one woman.

The phony source went on to claim that while Cooper “doomed a real chance at true love and happiness,” Lady Gaga realized after the breakup that Cooper never really loved her after all. “Now that she’s seen Bradley’s true colors, she admits there was passion, but not love,” the source allegedly said.

It remains unknown if Gaga and Cooper actually fell for each other while filming “A Star Is Born.” But a source close to Lady Gaga told Gossip Cop that reports about Cooper buying an engagement ring for the singer aren’t true at all.

According to the source, the costars are still close pals to this day. And Cooper didn’t back out of buying Lady Gaga a ring because they’ve never been anything more than just friends in the first place.
