Two brothers allegedly murdered a man who was in love with their teen sister.

The incident occurred Wednesday, Aug.18, in the Kapil Nagar area of Nagpur, India.

The deceased, identified as 27-year-old Kamlesh Bandu Sahare, a married man, who resided in Gaddigodam, was reportedly interested in a teen girl, police said.

"Sahare was married, but his wife did not stay with him. He was living with his parents and his daughter. He was in love with a teenage girl, who lived near the house of his sister in the Mhada colony. He had also gifted a mobile phone to the girl. But when her parents learned about her affair, they objected to the relationship," the NDTV quoted a police official as saying.

Based on a complaint filed by the teen girl, Sahare was arrested and charged under section 354 (a) (Physical contact and advances involving unwelcome and explicit sexual overtures; or. A demand or request for sexual favours) of the Indian Penal Code (IPC).

He was released after serving a remand period of 14 days in jail, according to the police.

However, he continued stalking the teen and that angered her brothers, police said. The suspects with the help of their friends learned about Sahare’s location and reportedly cornered him before stabbing him to death.

"Upon his release, he kept visiting his sister’s place daily for the past few days. On Wednesday evening, the accused - two brothers of the girl and their friends - caught hold of Sahare. The accused stabbed him multiple times and fled from the spot. Sahare was later taken to a hospital, where he died," the official said.

The police have registered a case and charged the suspects under section 302 (murder) and 34 (common intention) of the IPC.

In a similar incident, a 24-year-old man was murdered by his sister and her boyfriend for "repeatedly questioning" their relationship. The incident happened on the intervening night of Aug.10, 11, in the Chakli area of Rajouri district of Jammu and Kashmir, India, the police said

The victim, Ankit Bakshi was found dead with multiple stab wounds at his house in the early hours of Aug. 11.

Based on an investigation, three suspects, including Bakshi's sister Priya (21) and her boyfriend Rajan Sharma were arrested. The identity of the juvenile suspect has been withheld by the police.

During the interrogation, the investigators learned that Rajan and Priya were in a relationship for the past one year, which Bakshi had repeatedly and "often forcefully" objected to.

"Due to this, a criminal conspiracy was hatched to eliminate Bakshi," Senior Superintendent of Police, Rajouri, Sheema Nabi Qasba said.
