Alexa PenaVega and Carlos PenaVega are not wasting any time!
The parents-to-be are already encouraging their “little nugget” to travel the world, according to Alexa’s social media post on Friday.
“And so the journey begins,” the 27-year-old actress wrote on Instagram. “#IslandBaby Already taking this little nugget to all our favorite spots! #GodIsGood”
According to reports, the couple is currently enjoying a very much-needed time off in the island of Mayreau in the Caribbean.
“What do you do with your husband in the middle of the ocean while on a sailing trip? Rap BTR songs…Duh,” the “Spy Kids” star captioned a hilarious video of them having a blast on their vacation.
Earlier this week, the “Dancing With The Stars” competitors announced they are expecting their first child on their social media pages.
“Breaking news! It’s #ClearblueConfirmed a lil PenaVega is on the way! #ItsHappening #HolyWow #ClearbluePartner,” Carlos tweeted.
The mom-to-be expressed her excitement with an adorable photo of the two of them holding the pregnancy test.
“I cannot believe I finally get to say this…WE’RE PREGNANT!!!” she wrote. “It’s #ClearblueConfirmed that a little blessing is joining the PenaVega family!!! We can’t wait!!! #ItsHappening #HolyWow #LosForDaddyOfTheYear #ClearbluePartner.”
Alexa and Carlos got married in a romantic ceremony in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico on Saturday, Jan. 4, 2014.
“We are so blessed to have been able to spend this special day with the people we love the most,” the then newlyweds told US Weekly. “We look forward to sharing a happy and healthy life together.”
The actors started dating in 2013 and announced their engagement in September of the same year.
This is Alexa’s second marriage. The former child star filed for divorce from film producer Sean Cover in July 2012 after two years of marriage.
