Carlos Vives has announced major news and we're not sure who's more excited ---him or his fans!

The Colombian singer surprised his 1 million followers on Instagram with the news that he's got an album on the way. But it's not just any album, the new production is Vives' first-ever live project, called "Carlos Vives: Mas Corazon Profundo Tour En Vivo desde La Bahia Santa Marta."

In other words, if you've yet to catch the "Volvi a Nacer" singer in concert, don't stress it, because this CD/DVD combo will make you feel as if you were one of the 50,000 people at the spectacular night in Santa Marta.

Set for release on August 7th, the live album will include extra, never-before-seen footage from behind the scenes of the tour and exclusive interviews with the artist and members of “La Provincia.” It will also have a new version of the anthem, “La Tierra del Olvido 2015,” where he invited some of Colombia’s biggest artists such as Fanny Lu, Maluma, Fonseca, Andrea Echeverri, Coral Group, Cholo Valderama, and Herencia de Timbiqui to join him in this new version of the song dedicated to Colombia.

“On August 7th, the day of my birthday, I’ll be releasing my first live project; ‘Carlos Vives: Mas Corazon Profundo Tour En Vivo desde La Bahia Santa Marta’ available in CD and CD + DVD format. Soon enough I’ll share more details! #VivesEnVivo”, he said on the social media platform.
