Chiquis Rivera is no stranger to controversy and dealing with rumors head on. The daughter of the late Jenni Rivera is now clearing things up about what caused her breakup with La Original Banda El Limón star Lorenzo Méndez. In an interview with Univision's "Despierta América" Rivera said: "Lorenzo has been good to me. If we broke up it wasn't because of an infidelity from his part, nor from mine."

Chiquis is also talking Esteban Loaiza, her mother's last husband and the man she was rumored to have hooked up with that caused a rift between mother-daughter during the former's last living days. Loaiza recently gave an interview where he assured that there was never anything between himself and his step-daughter. Chiquis was questioned about the statement and she said: "It's the truth and I think that his name and my name were tarnished."

Ever since "La Diva De La Banda's" tragic passing, Chiquis has revealed that she dreams of her. During an interview the "La Malquerida" singer said that she had dreamt her mom got married again in the after life. "It was something a little weird," Chiquis said. "She was going to get married, I think she is getting married or already got married. I was happy to see her, she is always with me. When asked if she knew who Jenni was getting married to, she said it was someone really young. "I told her, 'mom, you just got there, how are you getting married?'" Chiquis added. We find this a little strange and even more strange that Chiquis is making her dream public. However, if she wants to believe this is true and this gives her peace, more power to her. We love and miss Jenni Rivera and we are truly happy that she has found happiness in the after life.

Back in 2014, Chiquis had also talked about dreaming of her mother. Following her performance on Premios Juventud 2014 Chiquis revealed that minutes before taking the stage "La Diva de la Banda" gave her advice. "I asked my mom to give me strength," she said in an interview. "I heard her, I don't care what people say; if they say I'm crazy, that it's a lie. I heard her, I sighed and at that moment I like only heard my representative, my mother telling me, 'do it like this, move like this.' I don't know how to explain it because when I saw it on video I said, 'wow.'" She also added, "I feel her presence through the music and that gives me strength. I know I'm not crazy. I know that she is with me and communicates with me through music."

Chiquis Rivera also stars in a reality show for cable channel Universo called "The Riveras." Cameras follow her and her siblings as they cope and move ahead following their mother's death. The show has been extremely helpful for all the Rivera's as they are able to show a different side of them.
