Chris Brown and Rihanna have split! However, after their tumultuous on-again, off-again relationship, no one is too shocked to hear about the breakup. Brown confirmed the breakup during a recent interview with Australian radio show "The Kyle and Jackie Show."

Brown was discussing his multiple birthday parties he hosted in Los Angeles, Las Vegas and New York City in celebration of his 24^th birthday. Then the conversation turned to his relationship with Rihanna, Brown then confirmed the rumored breakup, stating, "Imma do it solo." While the pair may currently be broken up, it seems that Brown sees a future for the couple. The "Don't Wake Me Up" singer continued, "I mean, at the end of the day, shawty doing her own thang, she on the road. It's always gonna be love. I'm a grown man, just gotta fast forward."

The fiery love between Chris and Rihanna is certainly not yet extinguished, but the couple has too many professional commitments and conflicting schedules to make a relationship work. Brown's interview was genuine and heartfelt, revealing his true love for Rihanna but his need to focus on himself and the reality of the situation. "I'm always gonna love that person. I can't be focused on wife-ing someone that young. I need to be the best Chris Brown I can be," he explained.
