Christmas is all about family, laughs, good food and presents. The kids also get to enjoy the gingerbread houses, cookies, candy canes and more but adding some crafts to their things to do keep them entertained and creative. Christmas morning after they open up the gifts from Santa plan out a day of crafts because after a while they do get tired of playing with their new toys. There are many Christmas themed crafts that you can do with your children or they can do independently while you take care of your guests. Latin Times has put together 15 crafts for kids that they can do for the holidays. They are easy to do and most require very little materials.

For girls we recommend doing some paper craft activities and creating your own version of your favorite characters. To create your own paper crafts you don’t need many materials a simple scissor, paper or cardstock and glue will do. There is a fun Elsa from the movie "Frozen" paper craft will take about 20 minutes. Creating crafts of your favorite princess characters whether for the Christmas tree or just to hang as decoration around the house are always a fun activity for girls.  To create Disney princess chandeliers to hang we recommend all cutting to be done by an adult since this is a little bit more complicated. Why buy a Christmas wreath when your little one can make one? It will take about 60 minutes and a few materials needed but she will love it. Minnie mouse pilgrim candy boxes and enchanted spoons and spatulas are a super creative craft and fun.
