Nearly one month after being crowned the new "Nuestra Belleza Latina" queen it its 10th season VIP edition, winner Clarissa Molina is ready to embark her next professional venture. Ready to show the world what she is all about, the Dominican beauty queen will make her official debut as TV host on Univision's "El Gordo y La Flaca."

"I'm very happy because the show is a challenge," said Molina to Latin Times in an exclusive interview. "It takes me out of my comfort zone because although it's a relax ambience we have to be a bit strong with the chismes and entertainment news," she added about joining reputed hosts Lili Estefan and Raul De Molina.

The former 2015 Miss Universe finalist, who is originally from New York, assured that she feels grateful with her new career move and has no problem making Miami her new home. "I like the heat. I like the palm trees, it reminds me a lot of Dominican Republic," she told Latin Times. "I like Cuban food. I like the beaches. I like the people, everyone is very sweet. I feel that I'm in my country."

During the grand finale of "Nuestra Belleza Latina's" VIP edition ---where 12 previous contestants returned for the crown--- Colombian Bárbara Turbay was named the third finalist and Puerto Rican Catherine Castro took the second finalist spot yet again, just as she did last season when she first competed for the show. Mexican Setareh Khatib was in second place as Molina was crowned the 2016 "Nuestra Belleza Latina" winner.
