A Dallas man was arrested after allegedly making threats against an ICE facility this week.

CBS News reported that the man in question, Bratton Dean Wilkinson, approached security officers with what appeared to be a "detonator" on his wrist. He also claimed he had a bomb in his backpack.

The incident prompted authorities to issue a shelter-in-place for the agency's Dallas Field Officer, a DHS official told the outlet. The Dallas Police Department then dispatched a bomb squad to the scene, and the man was arrested on charges of making terror threats.

He was then taken to the Dallas County Jail, and authorities in the U.S. Attorney's Office for the Northern District of Texas is looking into pursuing charges.

The outlet recalled that just two weeks prior, a threatening sentence with a white powdery substance was sent to an ICE office in New York City. They had "anti-ICE rhetoric," and the substance was later deemed to be non-threatening.

In July, members of a group were charged with attempting to murder ICE agents on July 4 in Texas. The suspects, wearing military-style clothing, engaged in a shooting outside an immigration center in the state that ended up wounding a police officer.

The group began shooting fireworks, damaging cars and infrastructure, also writing "traitor" and "ICE pig" on the premises. Two unarmed officers came out to speak with the group, and a police officer also arrived later. He was subsequently shot by a person in the woods. The group then fled, but sheriff's deputies ended up stopping seven people. Overall, ten people have been arrested on attempted murder charges in connection with the case.

Agents also discovered extensive planning of the attack, as well as anti-government literature in the apartment of a suspect. One of the titles was "Organising for Attack! Insurrectionary Anarchy."
