90': Four minutes of stoppage time. Won't be enough for Ecuador unfortunately.

86': Loic Remy has a strike on target but his shot is parried nicely by Domingues, who has been excellent today.

84': Great interplay between Benzema and Giroud but Benzema's shot is straight at Domingues. France unlucky there.

81': Good chance for Ecuador on the break but Michael Arroyo's shot goes well wide. Ecuador running out of time here.

78': Karim Benzema has a strike from distance, but again, Domingues is well placed.

73': What a chancce for Pogba! The ball finds him free at the back post but he mis-hits his header which trickles wide.

71': France controlling and attacking but Ecuador doing enough to keep them at bay. Still need a goal though for a shot at qualification.

66': Olivier Giroud replaces Matuidi.

62': A great ball for Blaise Matuidi by Benzema puts him in on goal but Domingues is well positioned to save. Ecuador still need a goal for a chance to continue.

54': A great opportunity created by Enner Valencia who delivers a great pass to Noboa, but his first touch lets him down and the shot goes wayward. Wasted chance for 10 men Ecuador.

50': Ecuador captain Antonio Valencia is sent off! A studs up challenge on Digne and the referee doesn't hesitate. Ecuador down to 10 men and have an uphill climb here.

46': What a chance! France are denied by a crossbar in the first chance of the half. Good interplay ends with a cross met by Griezmann on the near post and his flick ricochets off Domingues to the bar! Ecuador escape there.

The second half is underway! Can Ecuador get the win they need to qualify from Group E?

Halftime in Rio. Both sides should be pleased with their performance but Ecuador needs at least one goal to keep their tournament hopes alive.

44': Benzema tries to curl a shot past Rodriugues, but he doesn't get enough pace on the shot which is easily handled.

41': Excellent opportunity for Antonio Valencia as a cross finds him at the back post, but his shot is saved by Hugo Lloris who was well positioned.

38': Paul Pogba is denied by Domingues! A great header from a free kick finds Pogba who directs his header goalwards but the keeper is agile to deflect away for a corner.

More bad news for Ecuador as Switzerland now lead 2-0. The Ecuadorians will need a result against France to keep their World Cup dreams alive.

29': A dangerous head collision leaves Christian Noboa bleeding. He is back on the pitch wearing some sort of hair net stained in blood.

27': Great chance for Benzema! A cross from Bacary Sagna is well placed at the back post but the faintest of touches from Domingues deflects it over Karim's head.

Switzerland is leading Honduras 1-0 in the other game in this group, meaning if results hold, France and Switzerland advance. Bad news for Ecuador who now need a goal.

15': Good effort from Sissoko but it goes straight into the arms of Dominguez.

11': First shot and it's Antoinne Griezmann but it goes wide.

8': First real opportunity for Ecuador as Antonio Valencia plays a fantastic cross-field ball to Jefferson Montero who brings it down but can't get by Laurent Koscielny.

2': France looking the more lively side so far. Attacking well through the left flank with 20-year-old Lucas Digne getting up and down.

And we're off! Ecuador in yellow attacking left to right, France in white going right to left.
