HALFTIME: Mexico finish the half on the offensive. They should feel hard done by to go into the locker room even. Can El Tri muster enough to take all three points?

39th minute: M'bia should feel fortunate not to have picked up the games first yellow. Conditions on the field still alright despite heavy rain.

These refs are terrible thus far in the #Worlcup2014 that was NOT offsides for #ElTri unreal...

29th minute: Another disallowed goal for Mexico! A great corner and Giovani dos Santos again wins the header and puts it in. There will be much discussion about the referee's decision in only 30 minutes of this half. Rain picking up, game very lively, 0-0.

27th minute: Rafa Marquez takes away an open header for teammate Hector Moreno and misses just wide! Mexico should be leading this game.

21st minute: Assou Ekotto does very well to find space along the left side and delivers a great flat ball which finds Eto'o in the box but the Cameroon star can't find the back of the net.

#WorldCup needs instant replay like all 4 major US Sports. Mexico and dos Santos were robbed!!! Should be 1-0 EL TRI! #ElTri #MEXvsCMR #MEX

16th minute: A cleared corner is headed back in the Mexican box and Samuel E'too finishes it cleanly, but from a clear offside position. 0-0 still, good pace and energy from both sides, Mexico in control.

10th minute: A great ball in from Hector Hererra finds Giovani dos Santos free in the box and he headers it in! But the referee's assistant raises his flag and the goal is disallowed for offside. Mexico should feel hard done by, dos Santos seemed even with the last defender.

12:00PM EST. We are under way here in Brazil! It's a very rainy day
