Eric Del Castillo Disapproves Daughter’s Relationship: Kate Del Castillo’s Dad Unhappy About Kuno Becker Romance

Back in May we reported that Kate del Castillo and Kuno Becker were dating. The two were caught by a paparazzo in the middle of a steamy make-out session in Beverly Hills. Kuno was approached after the photos were made pubic and all he said was, “I don’t want to comment right now because I don’t want to mess things up. I don’t talk publicly about my private life. Please don’t take it the wrong way. But as soon as I can tell you anything, I’ll be glad to do so.”

He did comment on how he met the actress: “Well, I met her (Kate) a while ago. Her dad too. I admire him and respect him a lot, Don Eric, and a lot more people that I admire and love,” Kuno added. “I admire her as I admire a lot of other actors and actresses. We haven’t had the pleasure of working together yet, but hopefully one of these days we will.” However, although the love birds seemed very into each other in the pictures, there’s someone who is not so keen of this relationship, Kate’s dad.

Eric del Castillo, Mexican acting legend, has weighed in on his daughter and Kuno’s romance. "Kate scolds me because I talk about her love life, she even forbid me to say anything, she says I’m very gossipy. But I say what I think and truth be told I don’t like the relationship she has with this boy, Kuno Becker, who, by the way, I really like.” He went on to praise Kuno but explained he just doesn’t think the young man is right for his dauther.

“He’s a very talented boy, very educated and successful. But I don’t think he’s the right man for my daughter. She’s grown up now, she knows what she’s doing and I don’t get in her business.”
