Eva Longoria has been as happy as can be since tying the knot with Jose Antonio Baston five months ago. The star who has no children of her own, has taken the moment to open up about her plans for building her family.
According to Ocean Drive magazine, Longoria already has four step children, Baston has four children from previous relationships, but she is ready to add more children to their family.
“They are amazing children -- I’m so happy to be part of their lives,” she recently told the publication. “It if happens, it happens—if it's meant to be it would be a blessing." The couple consistently goes back and forth between Los Angeles and Mexico, so with more children in the picture, the couple would need a steady home base.
The actress has recently been in two high-profile marriages to San Antonio Spurs star Tony Parker and "General Hospital" actor Tyler Christopher. While both of those relationships had its ups and downs, including cheating rumors, the actress is over the moon about her new marriage and looking towards the future.
“Pepe and I are soul mates -- I don't even know how to explain it, because it's like we're two different sides of the same coin,” she said. “He's compassionate, kind, handsome -- he's everything I wanted and didn't even know I wanted.”
Although the actres had no plans of walking down the aisle again, she knew that once she met Pepe, he was the one for her.
“I think every relationship is a path to where you are today,” Longoria told the magazine. “Every wrong turn led you to the spot where you are, so it wasn't necessarily the wrong turn at the time. I wouldn't change anything -- never.”
The couple exchanged their vows in May at Baston's estate in the Mexican lakeside town of Valle de Bravo. Guests Ricky Martin, Melanie Griffith, Mario Lopez and Victoria Beckham were in attendance.
