California Gov. Gavin Newsom mocked Donald Trump after the president claimed there is "something wrong" with him due to his hands.
"This is a very incompetent guy, I watch him with the hands. What's going on with his hands? There's something wrong with him," Trump said. It was not immediately clear what Trump meant when saying "what's going on with his hands."
Newsom promptly replied on social media, posting a series of images of Trump in seemingly embarrassing moments and a passage of the Reba McEntire song "I'm a survivor": "With gentle hands and the heart of a fighter, I'm a survivor."

"We talking hands?" reads the caption from Newsom's post, which includes a picture of Trump's right hand with a large bruise, a repeated image that has fueled rumors about his health.
Trump did address rumors about his health on Tuesday, especially after speculation swirled following a few days without public appearances. Asked about it by Fox News' Peter Doocy, he said he wasn't aware about rumors that he had died but did hear about concerns over his health.
"I knew they were saying, like: 'Is he OK? How is he feeling? What's wrong?'" Trump said. He called the speculation "fake news" and noted he was "very active over the weekend."
