It seems the highly-rumored PC version of Rockstars popular game “Grand Theft Auto V” is in fact real, according to PC Gamer. The website has revealed they required a bug log chronicling hundreds of separate builds of “GTA V” spanning from April 2009 to August 2013. The 150 page long bug log mentions a PC version of “GTA V” as well as issues that would only affect the PC iteration of the popular-title.

"The document contains over 170 references to PC development bugs, numerous notes on DX11 support and a related 'smog' weather setting, mention of a 'lastgen' toggle used during development and bugs relating to 64-bit system testing," PC Gamer reporter Dan Dawkins writes. To see all the PC references check out the original PC Gamer’s story here. Meanwhile a petition to bring “GTA V” PC to life has reached 600,000 signatures as of Oct. 2013.

While “Grand Theft Auto V” is only available on the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360, rumors began swirling in Oct. 2013 that the game would be making its way to the PC platform. It was at that time that Intel’s Marketing Director Chris Silva predicted that “GTA V” was PC-bound. IGN reports a few days after that report, an anonymous source seemed to confirm Silva’s inkling. “Grand Theft Auto V” launched on PS3 and 360 on September 17, 2013 and has been praised as one of the best games of 2013.
