Make sure you catch "Let It Snow" on Netflix during the holidays. Netflix

Has it ever happened to you that you have been watching your favourite Netflix Christmas movies and you glimpse scenes or come across tidbits of information that connect one film to another? Well, it’s time to rejoice for your sneaky suspicions have been confirmed by the streaming giant, who recently shared that eight (and counting) of everyone’s favourite Netflix Christmas movies are set in the "Netflix's Holiday Movie Universe.”

This means that the films are connected to each other in both subtle and obvious ways. Let's find out how:

"The Knight Before Christmas" (2019)

In this film, the character of Sir Cole (Josh Whitehouse) is seen watching a TV on which "Holiday in the Wild".

Also, while telling her daughter about an acorn ornament Brooke's (Vanessa Hudgens') sister Claire (Emmanuelle Chriqui) mentions that “grandma and grandpa picked this up on their trip to Aldovia.” Aldovia is also the kingdom that Queen Amber and King Richard rule over in the "Christmas Prince" franchise.

"The Princess Switch" (2018)

The Netflix Christmas movies we witness in "The Princess Switch” are "The Christmas Inheritance" (2017) and "A Christmas Prince” as Kevin (Nick Sagar) goes through holiday movies for him and Lady Margaret (Hudgens).

"The Holiday Calendar" (2018)

Two more Netflix Christmas movies are added in the film as Abby (Kat Graham) opens Netflix and chooses "The Christmas Inheritance” over "A Christmas Prince" to watch.

"A Christmas Prince: The Royal Baby" (2019)

"The Princess Switch" kingdom of Belgravia was mentioned a couple of times in the film like a map that shows that it's Aldovia's neighbouring country. Also, when Queen Ming of Penglia (Momo Yeung) mentions that royals in Belgravia have been marrying outside of their class, hinting towards Prince Edward of Belgravia (Sam Palladio) in “The Princess Switch” as he married Stacy, who is a baker.

“It felt like a natural fit to show one of our other films available on Netflix,” an executive producer said, sharing how the idea of interconnecting Netflix Christmas movies took off. "That one seed of an idea soon turned into a fun opportunity to tie the various worlds together with small easter eggs from movie to movie."
