Apple's highly rumored next-generation iPads are said to already be in production. The company is said to be working on a new 9.7-inch iPad Air along with a 7.9-inch Retina iPad Mini. Both tablets will most likely release in Q3 along with the rumored 5.5-inch and 4.7-inch iPhone 6.

According to rumors the upcoming iPad Air 2 is said to feature a new anti-reflection coating that makes it a lot easier to read the screen in sunlight and glare. MacRumors reports, "Output of the larger iPad may be restricted by manufacturing complications related to the use of a new anti-reflection coating, which Apple plans to add to the device to make the display easier to read, said one of the people."

Other rumors suggest both the iPad Air 2 and second generation Retina iPad mini will feature form factors similar to the existing iPads. The larger device will see minor design upgrades including a new speaker grill, which is said to be a single row of larger holes for better audio output quality. Plus the device will see a slightly recessed set of volume buttons.

Both iPads are expected to upgrade to an A8 processor that are both faster and more efficient and both will have Apple's Touch ID fingerprint sensor. New cameras will be upgraded on the devices though the megapixels are unknown at this time and both will feature Apple's upcoming iOS 8 software update.

This new August production falls in line with earlier reports that claim the new iPads will be unveiled at a fall event that will follow Apple's rumored Sept. 9 iPhone event.
