As if Apple didn't already know how excited we were, the invitation is dotted with a variety of colors that seem to correlate with the colors seen in leaked images of the rumored iPhone 5C. The event will begin at 10:00 AM Pacific Time and will be held at the company's headquarters in Cupertino, California. The tagline on the invitation reads "This should brighten everyone's day." You betcha Apple!
So know that that exciting news is officially confirmed let the countdowns begin! Apple has already begun shipments of at least some of the new hardware said to be announced at the event, a source at Mac Rumors confirms. It is not a necessarily bad move for the Cupertino-based company to stockpile units of new iPhones in the United States. With an already accessible supply, Apple has ensured quick distribution for the US's third-party retailers and its own retail stores.
C Technology which has leaked several images of the supposed iPhone 5C, shows new colored units in packaging with boxes, and even manuals. The website has also claimed that about 1.2 million iPhone 5C units have already been shipped to the U.S..
Now that Apple will be releasing one or maybe even TWO new iPhone models at next week's anticipated event, we must consider Apple's previously announcement and release schedules. Mac Rumors believes that considering Apple's pattern with previous releases suggests that the new models would launch in the U.S. and other first wave countries about a week and a half later, with Friday, September 20 being the most likely date.
