Jenna Dewan and Channing Tatum is at the center of rumors despite their split occurring more than a year back. The two have moved on to different partners since their breakup announcement — Tatum with Jessie J and Dewan with Steve Kazee.

However, a recent report has once again linked them together. Fortunately, popular celebrity fact-checking website Gossip Cop is there to debunk the malicious rumor.

The “Step Up” actress announced last month that she’s expecting a child with her current partner. The couple has been together for almost a year, and their timely announcement has fans rejoicing for their milestone. However, popular American tabloid National Enquirer posits that the dancer’s pregnancy has a dark reasoning behind it.

The publication claims that Dewan only got pregnant to get revenge against Tatum, her husband of 9 years. She allegedly has a lot of frustrations against the “Magic Mike” lead star for walking out on her and their 6-year-old daughter, Everly.

“Jenna was miffed that Channing was so willing to give up their family life, with their daughter Everly, and it made her redouble her efforts to start a new family with Steve,” the phony source of National Enquirer claimed. “She wants to remind Channing how happy she is with her new guy.”

Gossip Cop definitively shots down the article’s false narrative. In fact, more than hurting Dewan’s ex-husband, Tatum actually expressed his joy at the announcement of Dewan and Kazee. According to the reputable celebrity news outlet E!, the “Berlin, I Love You” actress actually kept her ex on the loop about the news.

“Jenna told Channing that she was pregnant and wanted to make sure he knew before she announced it,” said E! News’ insider. “He is happy for her and was very supportive."

To top it off, Dewan shared her delightful news on Instagram, even gushing about how motherhood is one of her greater joys. Her message clearly shows how her being pregnant is more out of a love for family rather than getting back at Tatum.

“Becoming a mother is quite simply the absolute best most incredible thing that has ever happened to me,” she captioned on the social media website.

To hammer the final nail in the coffin, Gossip Cop checked in with a source close to the situation. They completely denied National Enquirer’s claims, fully debunking the baseless rumors.
