Jorge Ramos, one of the most influential people in the world according to Time magazine, has always made sure to report accurate facts about the latest news on U.S. candidates. However, as a Latino living in the U.S. it is inevitable for the Univision’s news anchor not to stand up for his own, immigrants.

The day after the GOP debate, Ramos expressed his surprise when he realized that no one in the panel had criticized Donald Trump’s ideas on mass deportation, and that the question “How do you deport 11M men, women and children? If you do want to do that, what's your plan?” wasn’t even brought up throughout the discussion.

During an appearance on CNN’s “Anderson Cooper 360” on Monday, Ramos shared his thoughts on Trump’s Immigration plan and he says: “It’s all wrong.” The Fusion host said that the presidential candidate is “spreading hate” when he talks about immigrants and added that his plan is financially unsustainable and logistically unachievable.

“What he is trying to sell to the American public simply doesn’t work,” he said. “How is he going to deport 11 million people? By bus, by plane? Is he going to bring the army to do that?”

According to Ramos, Trump’s “empty promises” would cost around $12,500 per immigrant, which means the real estate tycoon would have to invest an estimated of $137 billion to force 11 million undocumented immigrants out of the country.

When John Berman, who was filling in for Anderson Cooper, asked him about his previous comments in which he called the presidential hopeful “the loudest voice of intolerance, hatred, and division” in the U.S., Ramos replied: “When you say immigrants from Mexico are criminals and rapists, isn’t that spreading hate?”

CNN: My thoughts on Trump

When you call 11 million people in this country "illegals" -- and no human being is "illegal" -- is that not spreading hate?
