Juanes will soon premiere on the small screen with a new show that follows up a project released in 2013. Three years ago, the Colombian singer dropped an autobiography titled "Chasing the Sun," which tells his story through narratives and pictures. Now, he has teamed up with top-notch producers to launch his future TV venture.

Juanes and his manager Rebeca Leon, have partnered with Golden Globe-winning producer Ben Silverman (Ugly Betty, Hands of Stone) to develop a show called "Persiguiendo el Sol" (Chasing the Sun), reports Billboard. The production is expected to chronicle the Grammy winner's rise to stardom from his beginnings in Colombia to his successful crossover career around the world.

"It's a mix of 'Entourage' and 'Narcos,'” Silverman told Billboard, as example of a show shot in Latin America for mainstream audiences. The show, which will begin filming as early as spring or summer, also counts with the help of Producer Eric Newman, executive producer of "Narcos." "He's the first American producer to bring American show running to American production," expressed Silverman.

"Persiguiendo el Sol," according to Billboard," "will be a bilingual show and will feature cameos from multiple artists in both mainstream and Latin worlds."
