We know Pedro Pascal from playing the handsome Prince Oberyn Martell on HBO’s hit series “Game of Thrones,” as well as for playing Javier Peña, a DEA agent, in charge of bringing the infamous Pablo Escobar on the Netflix original “Narcos.” Luckily for fans, Pascal has landed a role in returning director Matthew Vaughn’s sequel, “Kingsman: The Golden Circle.”

The Chilean actor’s character will reportedly be named Jack Daniels, but there are no more details. Actor Taron Egerton has been cast as the lead, and joining him will be Edward Holcrift, and the gorgeous likes of Julianne Moore and Halle Berry.

The script was written by Vaughn and his co-writer Jane Goldman, in hopes that the film will match, or exceed the smashing $415MM “Kingsman” grossed for Fox.

Rumors that Collin Firth’s character, Harry Hart would be coming back had been swirling for a while, and now, this past weekend, Egerton and Vaughn hinted at the possibility. Egerton tweeted: “A message from an old friend,” accompanied by a poster that read, “Reports of my death have been greatly exaggerated,” with Hart’s signature spectacles.

It’s been non-stop for Abascal during the last few months. The actor also has the highly anticipated film “The Great Wall” coming, in which he starred opposite Matt Damon, Andy Lau and Willem Defoe.

However, the series “Narcos” is supposed to have a second season as its last one, since showrunner Eric Newman revealed that the second season will cover the death of Pablo Escobar. “Trust me, if we could find a way to keep him alive and keep Wagner on the show...” Newman lamented after fans begged for more seasons to come. “He will die. The design of the show is we told 15 years of history in season one. At the point of Escobar's escape which is the summer of 1992, Escobar has 18 months to live.”
