Zoe Saldana is back after taking some time off to take care of her twins, Cy and Bowie, and she’s looking better than ever. The half Dominican-half Puerto Rican actress is featured on the cover of the July issue of InStyle magazine. During her photo shoot, which marked the star’s first day back to work after her pregnancy, Saldana expressed it was good to be back, “I had forgotten how much fun shoots can be!”

In the issue, which will be available on newsstands and for digital download June 12, the 36-year-old star talks about her experience with motherhood thus far, and reveals a thing or two about her Italian husband Marco Perego. The couple, who got secretly married two years ago, seems to have a very artsy and outside-the-box relationship, Perego even decided to go against the tide and took his bride’s last name.

“I tried to talk him out of it. I told him, ‘If you use my name, you’re going to be emasculated by your community of artists, by your Latin community of men, by the world.’ But Marco looks up at me and says, ‘Ah, Zoe, I don’t give a sheet.’” Saldana confessed to the magazine.

Saldana also took the opportunity to talk about body image, and what she thinks a woman should look like after pregnancy. The “Guardians of The Galaxy” star is known for her skinny features but she tells InStyle that she is not necessarily looking forward to get that body back.

“I don’t want to get back to where I used to be. I want to feel healthy, and not just fit into the old jeans I used to wear. I’m a woman now. My body has changed forever. It’s softer... and stronger.”

Saldana also tells the magazine that her marriage has changed with the arrival of her baby boys, "Finally when we had our boys, I looked at my husband and I realized: I was meant for you and you were meant for me. I've always felt comfortable around men as long as they were friends. Now I finally feel comfortable with my lover. I don't want to be separate. I want my church. I want to live inside the religion of our own little family."
