Former Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene

Former Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene said on Wednesday that Americans want the government to prioritize domestic concerns rather than foreign conflict, writing on X that "Americans do not want to go to war with Iran!!!" and that they "want their government to put elite pedos in jail" and voted for "NO MORE FOREIGN WARS AND NO MORE REGIME CHANGE."

Her comment about pedophiles are a clear reference to the release of the Epstein files which she has previously stated is being stalled by Trump himself. She has also claimed MAGA stands to lose women's votes in light of the GOP's handling of the issue.

Her comments come amid heightened tensions between the United States and Iran following recent military and diplomatic developments. Trump's advisers Jared Kushner and Steve Witkoff met with Iran's Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi for three hours in Geneva on Tuesday, as Axios reports, talks which U.S. officials reportedly aren't optimistic about.

Vice president JD Vance made it clear on Fox News that while Trump wants a deal, he could determine that diplomacy has "reached its natural end."

In another recent message responding to political betting data showing Republicans' declining chances of keeping control of Congress, Greene criticized the administration's strategy, writing that leaders cannot campaign on populist rhetoric and then "deliver for your billionaire donors and warmongering neocons."

Last week Taylor Greene also urged House Republicans to shift their focus from investigating Bad Bunny's Super Bowl halftime performance to addressing health insurance prices, writing on X that they "should come up with a healthcare plan that reduces the outrageous costs of health insurance instead."
