When Meghan Markle embarked on her first date with Prince Harry, she reportedly still lived with her former Canadian boyfriend, chef Cory Vitiello.

According to News.com.au, the astonishing assertion came from Tom Bower's biography "Revenge: Harry, Meghan and the war between the Windsors." The said book discussed more the life of the Duke and Duchess of Sussex.

Reports pointed out that Vitiello and Markle dated from 2014 to 2016. When Markle was set up on a date with Prince Harry in London in 2016, Bower reported that she was still residing with her Canadian boyfriend.

According to the British novelist, the connection between Markle and Vitiello had already ended by the time Markle left for a trip to Europe in the summer of 2016. The Canadian society chef, he pointed out, was still residing in their joint residence as he and Markle discussed how to end their relationship."

A high-society PR for Ralph Lauren reportedly set up Markle and Harry on a date while she was in London and dressed the actress for two appearances at Wimbledon.

The British author named Violet von Westenholz, the daughter of Prince Charles' close friend and playmate of Princes William and Harry as the matchmaker.

Bower claims that Markle "in her empathetic manner," to set up a blind date with Harry because of "persuaded Violet" The Duke and Duchess of Sussex reportedly decided to meet up again after their initial date on July 1, 2016.

The prince "secretly flew" to Toronto, Canada, two weeks after Markle and Harry's first date, according to the British author, and stayed there for around a week with Markle's pal, "probably Jessica Mulroney." Markle continued to live with Vitiello at the time.

"With Cory still sharing her home, the situation for Meghan was tricky but manageable," Bower said. The British author noted that the end of Markle's relationship with her Canadian boyfriend came after Harry's visit to Toronto came to an end.

"At the end of the week, after he [Harry] returned to London, Meghan was convinced that her spell was cast and the relationship with Harry would be sealed," Bower wrote.

"She [Markle] told Cory that their affair was over. Unaware of the circumstances, he was relieved. The final months had been unpleasant," the author added.

In November 2016, Meghan Markle and Prince Harry publicly announced their romance to the media. They got married in May 2018 after being engaged in November 2017. Currently, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex are parents to two kids.

According to Page Six, the couple was not invited to the Balmoral summer party this year. Despite claims that the pair was requested, the outlet was informed that they had not received an invitation to accompany Queen Elizabeth on her yearly summer vacation in the Highlands.

Page Six received confirmation from numerous sources that the Sussex family would not be accompanying the Queen. Before Harry's memoir is released this fall, the couple will remain in the country.

The last time Meghan Markle and Prince Harry saw the Queen was in June when they traveled to the UK to honor her Platinum Jubilee. The couple first introduced the monarch to their daughter Lilibet.

A royal specialist mentioned in a Geo TV report that Meghan Markle wrote the passages in Prince Harry's planned memoirs. According to foreign policy commentator Nile Gardiner, the book will be "ghastly," who also speculated that Meghan may have ghostwritten a significant portion of it.

The work was completed, went through all the legal procedures, and was released from Harry's control, a publishing insider told The Sun.

Former royal editor at The Sun and Harry biographer, Duncan Larcombe, said that tension between the two families is stoked by ambiguity surrounding the book's subject matter.

When the book is published by Christmas, Prince William must determine what to do about Prince Harry, according to Larcombe.
