SEATTLE - In a tight game between Brewers and Blue Jays, the bat of Dominican shortstop Willy Adames proved to be the difference on June 10 as Milwaukee won by three runs to one.

Adames played a role in two of them. He started the game off with a single at the bottom of the second. Two innings later, he sent a solo shot deep down centerfield for his 10th homer of the season. Adames' big fly against José Berríos put the Brewers 2-1 in front and never looked back.

Adames' multi-hit game against the Blue Jays was his first such game since June 1. It hasn't been a great start to the month for the Dominican, who just before yesterday's heroics he was slashing .143/.250/.143.

After his homer, Adames added a sacrifice fly in the sixth to cap off the night and help the Brewers win their sixth consecutive home game.

The Brewers have made their home ballpark a tough place to visit this season. Their 19-10 record at home is the second best all around the National League, only behind the Philadelphia Phillies who have won 27 out of 37.

Leaders of the NL Central with seven games ahead of second place, the Brewers will play the next five games at home, including a divisional matchup against the Cincinnati Reds over the weekend.
