In a horrific fire pit accident in the family's backyard, Nicole Foltz, a Florida mother of five died after, suffering from burning.

Nicole Foltz, 38, from Tarpon Springs, Florida, was trying to reignite the fire when the gas can she was holding exploded in her hands. Three days after the incident, Foltz, who suffered burns on nearly 100 percent of her body died at Tampa General Hospital, New York Post reported.

Nicole Foltz and her husband, Jeff started a fire last month, for keeping the bugs away at their home in Tarpon Springs, where they used to hang out with their friends. The accident also injured Jeffrey, the couple's son He reportedly suffered second-degree burns on 40 percent of his body and spent 12 days in the hospital before being discharged.

The fire fizzled at one point while he stepped inside and Nicole tried to reignite it, said Jeff.
Nicole Foltz panicked seeing the fire and tried to stop the fire by rolling. However, despite her effort, the flames continued. She suffered burns on almost 100% of her body and died three days after the Monday, Nov. 14 accident, the Independent reported.

The tragic mother was a server and manager at the Tarpon Tavern. For supporting her family, a GoFundMe page has raised nearly $30,000.

Fundraiser organizer Dan Jenkin wrote on the GoFundMe page that Nicole's radiant smile always filled the room. She was always there for everyone, there for every relative, every friend, every customer, every co-worker, every birthday, every anniversary, every day for everyone. All donations that they received will assist the family with Nicole's funeral costs, her hospital bills, young Jeffrey's existing and ongoing hospital bills, long-term rehabilitation, childcare, and ongoing living expenses.

Tavern owner Ania Bozena remembered the loved employee She stated that Nicole loved her work and that everybody adored her not just for her hard work, but also for her personality and friendship.

Bozena added that Nicole was a devoted wife to her amazing husband and she was a great mother who always put her family first.
