MrBeast And YouTube Creator Mark Rober Snag Awards At The Streamys

The 12th annual Streamy Awards saw YouTuber, Inventor and Engineer Mark Rober take away a whopping four awards dominating as the most awarded nominee of the night.

The streaming ceremony took place on Sunday evening at The Beverly Hilton in Los Angeles. Rober took home Creator for social good and Collaboration in overall awards, Science and engineering in subject awards and Brand engagement in brand awards.

Rober began his journey as a YouTuber over 10 years ago. While managing his channel he was also working at NASA and at Apple, making viral videos of scientific projects he has worked on like the "World’s Largest Jello Pool" or his "Backyard Squirrelympics 3.0 - The Summer Games" video. He has been able to amass over 23 million subscribers only posting once a month.

Behind Rober with three total wins was MrBeast, whose real name is Jimmy Donaldson. He took home the big honor of Creator of the Year for a third time in a row, Creator for social good in the individual awards and Brand Engagement in brand awards along with Rober. He also had the highest number of nominations at seven.

The awards show, presented by Dick Clark Productions and Tubefilter, was hosted by YouTube star Eric Decker, who is most commnly known as, Airrackon his YouTube channel. For the full list of winners look below.
