Godzilla is back and scarier than ever. The official trailer for this upcoming summer blockbuster is out, leaving us very curious about what’s going to happen with this beastly creature. The film promises to be an immediate hit just by the looks of the trailer, and because Bryan Cranston, who was featured prominently throughout the teaser, delivers a very convincing performance, setting the tone for a very frightening King of the Monsters.

“You’re not fooling anybody when you say that what happened was a natural disaster,” he says in the teaser, sounding very desperate. “You’re lying! It was not an earthquake, it wasn’t a typhoon, because what’s really happening is that you’re hiding something out there. And it is going to send us back to the Stone Age!”

This will be an epic rebirth to Toho's iconic Godzilla, from Warner Bros. Pictures and Legendary Pictures, with top of the notch cast and crew. Gareth Edwards directs, and Aaron Taylor-Johnson (“Kick-Ass”), Oscar nominee Ken Watanabe (“The Last Samurai,” “Inception”), Elizabeth Olsen (“Martha Marcy May Marlene”), Oscar winner Juliette Binoche (“The English Patient,” “Cosmopolis”), Sally Hawkins (“Blue Jasmine”), Oscar nominee David Strathairn (“Good Night, and Good Luck.,” “The Bourne Legacy”) and Bryan Cranston (“Argo,” TV’s “Breaking Bad”) complete the A-List cast.

Edwards directs from a screenplay by Max Borenstein, story by David Callaham, based on the character “Godzilla” owned and created by TOHO CO., LTD. The film is slated to open on May 16, 2014, and expected to be presented in 3D, 2D and IMAX in select theatres. Check out the outstanding trailer below which will surely leave you wanting more.
