Excitement is high for tonight’s People Choice Awards, not only because fans have voted for their favorites, but also because it’s the unofficial kick-off of award season! The popular CW show “Jane the Virgin” starring Gina Rodriguez and Jaime Camil, is nominated for Favorite Network TV Comedy against "Modern Family," "The Big Bang Theory," "New Girl" and more. But the talented cast of "Jane the Virgin" are not the only Latinos we’re rooting for, Mrs. Manganiello, aka Sofia Vergara, has nabbed two nominations; one for Favorite Comedic Movie Actress.

In addition, Jennifer Lopez, is nominated for Favorite Dramatic Movie Actress against, and Selena Gomez and Demi Lovato are facing each other for Favorite Female Artist and Favorite Pop Artist. As you can see the event sounds like it’s going to be epic. The excitment will go down in at the Microsoft Theater in Los Angeles, California, and will be broadcast live on CBS at 9:00 pm EST.

CBS will air the award show as it happens on Wednesday, January 7 starting at 8pm ET/PT. Live stream of the show and red carpet will be available on the official website.
